i'm having a blast with sora2 and ugc creation

so i’ve been doing fiverr for a while now, it’s been a year however since i’ve been active on the platform because of my move to another country and getting married, it’s been a bit of whirlwind year but finally after the break and lots of new learning i’m able to run my gig(s) again and start that up again.

obviously the world has changed since i last did ugc, it’s a little more difficult to get the over 50+ ugc jobs because now most agencies with the help of their resident ai creator can rattle of people of that age easily and use those ads in a/b testing in the 100’s/1000’s to get an ad that converts, it’s super cost effective for them too.

i’m not sure how good they are converting but probably it works out in the mix. i do think however humans are very much going to be needed again after people start getting fed up with the volume and the slop ones.

because of that i’ve been learning and utilizing the same tools and platforms that a digital agency might be now using, my weapons of choice for this are the new sora2 that allows 15 second video from the openai app and the ability to use sora2 pro (25 seconds) from the api and using json prompting.

i’ve still got a lot to learn but it’s proving to be a much in demand service!

the next thing is to work on my flows – i’m going to be learning comfy ai and building something for myself that uses replicate, fal and render which are services in the cloud that have api’s i can invoke locally and render things from prompts that i get from scripts from the client.

i’m hoping to really hone this from the payment costs side and the interaction time so that i can have these getting done while i sleep and be ready for review when i wake.

i’ve got a big interest in this from a content creator, media maker, on the ground perspective too. in terms of microblogging and fully post blogging and then live streams i think it opens up a really interesting narrative playbook and i think software that helps you do those things is going to be in demand – if not from companies and brands that need to be fast (near realtime, in reacting) but also for creators that need to break through and be noticed (and keep up!)

it might all be a road to nowhere but i think it’s the right move for me now, my intention is to build out a fast local network inference system to do a bunch of the heavylifting and automation locally and then go to the cloud for using faster hardware, i’ve looked at the numbers in terms of hardware and right now, it’s cheaper to use the cloud instead of the investment in hardware which is changing rapidly anyway.

i mean, literally we are seeing a six month window on chips from apple and i’m sure they can go even faster than that (we are just paying for the hardware development in a way) with the newer products, i mean, heck, the m5 is coming out anytime.

oh, and i decided to come back to start posting daily again on youtube but just as shorts at the moment as i don’t have the time to be doing editing as well as everything else we have going on.

I will have some exciting news to share near the end of the year however in the next few month before we break into 2026 so watch this space on that, it’s gonna be an adventure for sure – just think fast internet, actual products and setting up a proper company and trust, i’m looking to build out generational health here!

have a fantastic friday and an even better weekend!
