like these days you can just build things, adding back meta information to video files and folders, using local m1/gpu libraries and also replicate to do comparisons in speed but also building in support for offline and online usage, if cost too high or ok to do overnight offline! :) so rad ;)

actually crazy the price of mistral.ai if you are a student, for the price of apple tv (for the next six months at least) $6 for all this ai power, kinda crazy, it’s got a 200k context window but i’ve literally been bashing away on it for ages and it’s way cheaper than claude code and still smart.

call me fickle but i’ve been playing around with the mistral cli and the context window, even on free is massive and it does a good job, i keep hitting the usage window on claude code pro, they better start changing the limits or i’m out and i’m gonna build a local inference and be done with cloud

it’s time. this morning i’m finally learning about repos a little bit, the amount of areas i’ve been exposed to because of vibe coding is insane, i always had a rough idea how a lot of this worked but the morning i learn, the more hand holding and guard rails i implement the better feeling i have.

ok, so it’s not me, but that can come with a bit more training of the source material, lots of different models product different outputs but having a film director contact sheet as the lead means we can just freestyle a bunch, this is gonna be awesome for digital ugc using my voice and video!

man, some people are just so clever, just found this contact sheet process using nano banana pro, they use photoshop to extract the frames but i’d like to have a cleaner way than that, i’m using replicate to upscale the image so that “cutting” out each frame will be high quality, need to automate!
