well, design.ui.com/wizard is pretty sweet, i mean this ended up coming out just shy of $10k usd but still, a fully fledged system to grow with, homelab and all! i’m probably gonna end up going route10 thou in the short term as much cheaper and build on top of that with vlans, kinda stoked.

and just like that, thursday again, it’s been a blur and continues to be so for the rest of this month i think, at least month will be more settled i hope moving into the new year. keeps the body moving at least, embracing the changes there, better base camp and positioning myself to set a business

wow this takes me back, remember “beveling” things with those ascii characters? i was obsessed after learning about .nfo files and how they were made. the early interfaces, still much love for them, must bring that back. today feels lighter, achievable, positive, upbeat and with stacks of potential.

it’s crazy how we go from a weird looking comet is bringing with it an alternative potential civilization to the most mundane thing by the time the world has taken a big old spin by the time we wake up from our slumber, everything seems more bizarre the older you get, maybe it’s a sync/skill issue.

been very much down tools on the machine this weekend, kinda nice break from it but back to it, books back to the library (another set i never read) and well just rebooting to see if we can make changes to the current flow, november rushed in and took over as usual. feeling very monday but all good!

the dark patterns of temu are crazy, the way it wants to give you this and that, discount that, flashy animation, come back, emails, popups, triggers, it’s really just a broadcasting tool for stuff they have stacked to the gills in warehouses all over the globe, kinda totally put me, no temu for me!

take a moment to thank and consider all the IT teams that were working overtime and late shifts last night working to defend your networks globally, hopefully we fixed a few things, put in an order for more capacity and submitted a bunch of firmware requests for dodgy made vulnerable hardware! :)

another day, another ddos, do the script kiddies not realise that we just go out and exercise, grab lunch, do chores and then wait for it to come back? like everything in life, we adapt, all good, no problems, so waste of time and switches heating up. maybe get therapy and find a use in life? :)
